Where I switch to third person for some reason!

Kristen Studard is an actor, comedian, and writer living in Los Angeles. She trained and performed in Chicago at iO, Second City, and the Annoyance Theater.

While in Chicago she performed on many improv teams including the iO Harold team Mike Helicopter, the improvised puppet show FELT, and with the all-girl supergroup Mountain Dawn.

In 2007, Kristen won the 8-week comedy talent competition Impress These Apes by doing this.  It was a strange, but very creative, time in her life.

Her 2010 solo show Small Victories: An Unflattering Vanity Project was Recommended by the Chicago Reader and featured in the TBS Just for Laughs Festival, San Francisco Sketchfest, The Comedy Central Stage at the Hudson, and the Bridgetown Comedy Festival.

Kristen’s solo show It Could Be Worse: Everything’s Great and I Can’t Stop Crying was also featured in San Francisco Sketchfest and was performed on the Comedy Central Stage at the Hudson.

She has performed solo material at TBS Just For Laughs Festival (2011), San Francisco Sketchfest (’12-'15), Chicago Sketchfest (’09-’12), The Comedy Central Stage at the Hudson (2012), and Bridgetown Comedy Festival (2012).

Right now she is working to bring her web series Kristen Does Her Best to a screen near you.

Currently, Kristen improvises with her UCB Harold team, Zoo Zoo, and performs stand-up and solo material around LA and at festivals across the country. Just check her Shows page.
